• The municipality was previously identified as one of the possible sites for the development of an Economic Zone in Central Luzon as per accreditation of the PEZA. In support to this, the LGU has classified the three (3) barangays namely: Baloganon, Bani and Taltal as industrial areas. It has identified 300 hectares in Baloganon as possible site for the ECOZONE project.


• The Coto Mines Inc. (CMI) which was operated by the BC-MCO since 1930 for its refractory chromite had suffered a downturn in the 90’s but has become active again in producing ore due to a new surge in world demand for minerals. However, in middle of 2000, the Coto Mines has temporarily ceased operations.


• The Masinloc Coal-Fired Thermal Power Plant (MCFTPP) previously operated by National Power Corporation is presently operated by the American Energy System (AES) or the Masinloc Power Partners Co. Ltd. (MPPCL). It provides huge revenues and employment for the municipality.


• The Masinloc Mall was constructed to accommodate some of the establishments in the municipality. A total of 806 establishments with business permits were presently operating in the municipality generating at least Php 3.16 M in 2013 as per eBPLS. 

• An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is installed at the Masinloc Mallby the Bank of Commerce.

• The LGU had revitalized the Operation and Management of the Masinloc Public Market. Improvements were undertaken in some facilities in the Wet Section, “Native Cakes” Section, and the new stalls for vegetables. 






• The 24 hours services of the Seven-Eleven (7/11) Convenience Store was conveniently installed within the vicinity of the town’s plaza.
